Nonogram 101 ("the app", "we") is a picture-nonogram puzzle game available on the web at nonogram101.com and as an Android app. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. We aim to collect as little as possible: you can play the entire game without an account.
If you do not sign in, the app does not create a server-side profile for you. Your puzzle progress, stats, and settings are stored locally on your device (in your browser's local storage) and are not sent to us. Clearing the app's data removes them.
If you choose to sign in with Google, we store, to operate your account:
We use this only to maintain your account, show your verified username, and sync your progress.
The optional Supporter Pack is processed by Google Play Billing (in the Android app) or by Stripe (on the web). Those providers handle your payment details under their own privacy policies; we receive only a confirmation that a purchase was made so we can unlock your supporter content. We do not collect or store your payment card information.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and privacy-first. It reports aggregate traffic only (such as page views) and does not profile individual users or track you across other sites.
We rely on these providers to run the game: Google (sign-in and Play Billing), Stripe (web payments), and Cloudflare / PartyKit (hosting, multiplayer, and the account backend). We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS / secure WebSockets).
To delete your account and the data associated with it (your profile, synced progression, and leaderboard entries), email johnbreton37@gmail.com from the address linked to your account, or with your username. We will remove it within 30 days. Local device data can be removed any time by clearing the app's data.
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
